Glass-Breakage Alarm

Description

The Glass-Breakage Alarm is a single alarm that sounds when the glass breaks on a window you own. It is an audible alert only, with no camera and no recording.

For doors or windows that open, use a magnetic door and window alarm instead.

How it works

Mounted on the glass, it reacts to the vibration of the pane breaking and sounds a loud local alarm to alert people inside and nearby. It does not call anyone or connect to a monitoring service.

Clean the glass, mount the alarm firmly near a corner of the pane and switch it on. It is most useful on windows someone could reach from outside, such as ground-floor windows and glass doors. Test it as the instructions describe and replace the battery when needed.

Who it’s for

It suits owners who want an alert on windows they control:

• Ground-floor windows
• Glass patio doors
• Shop and office windows
• Sheds and garages with windows

For use on property you own or control. Aim sensors and alarms away from neighbors’ property. Buyer is responsible for local law.
