Home Security Remote — Arm a System You Own
Replacement or extra remote for a compatible home-security system you own. Accessory only. For legal, authorized use only.
Description
The Home Security Remote is a replacement or extra remote that arms and disarms a compatible wireless home-security system you own. It is an accessory: it works only with that system’s alarm components.
It does not record video or audio and does not contact a monitoring service. Use it for lawful use on property you control.
How it works
The remote sends a wireless signal to the system’s main unit, which arms or disarms the alarm. An extra remote lets each person in the household arm or disarm the system without walking to the main unit.
Pair it with the system’s main unit following the system instructions, then test arming and disarming before relying on it. Keep it on a key ring so it is with you when you leave and arrive. If a remote is lost, remove it from the system, if your system allows, so it can no longer arm or disarm the alarm. Replace the remote’s battery when its range starts to drop.
