Description
The Large Room White Noise Generator Kit protects meeting audio in larger rooms by injecting masking noise into walls, windows and other structures, and into air voids, through a speaker. It pairs a three-channel generator with six transducers and a speaker.
It is a fixed installation that runs on AC power, made for rooms where confidential meetings happen regularly.
How it works
Sound travels through walls, glass and ducts, where contact microphones and other listening methods can pick it up. Transducers mounted on those surfaces vibrate with white noise, masking speech carried through the structure, while the speaker fills voids and cavities with noise in the air.
Mount the transducers on the walls, windows, pipes or ducts where sound could leak, and connect them to the two transducer channels. Connect the speaker to the speaker channel, power on and set each channel level separately so solid and light surfaces each get the right amount of noise.
